Wapro AB has been in the storm and waste water industry since 1988 and has made a name for itself with their unique patented products for backflow alleviation and flow control. Wapro AB is active in 20 countries worldwide through cooperation with specially selected sales partners, and since 2015 in the USA with its own subsidiary. Business in USA has grown substantially since initial market penetration in 2010 and with the inception of Wapro Inc that growth is accelerating.

To maintain growth Wapro Inc is now seeking an entry level professional who is dynamic and competitive and can thrive in a rapidly evolving business. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious expansion and revenue objectives by working hand in hand with all parts of the sales chain. You will also have the opportunity to be a part of the growth of the company in USA and the roll will adapt to the growth of the company. Commission-driven role.


Core functions:

  • Primarily Municipal based project sales
  • Understanding customer applications and provide a solution
  • Create sales opportunties and follow through to specification and purchase
  • Conduct technical presentations to end users and consulting engineers
  • Live and breathe the ‘Wapro Way’



  • Actively visiting and presenting Wapro solutions to Municipalities and Consulting Engineers
  • Engaging as a sales hunter to source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls, emails, and database mining
  • Understand customer needs and requirements through needs analysis
  • Develop relationships, identify key players and generate interest
  • Maintain and expand customer database
  • Perform cost-­benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers.
  • Follow up on sales for the purpose of value re-enforcement and continued sales
  • Reach potential customers through cold calling both in person and via telephone
  • Provide excellent customer service in line with our value proposition
  • Support customers to facilitate sales growth by:
    • responding to information requests
    • sending request for shop and conceptual drawings to parent company in Sweden
    • providing quotes
  • Set-up and attend industry tradeshows



  • Proven sales experience
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • Travel to major cities within Territory including overnight travel
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Based in Mid Atlantic working from a home office


A plus:

  • Customer service orientated
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and preferably Zoho and QuickBooks or similar
  • Strong phone presence
  • Proficient with corporate presentation material, and digital marketing tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Self driven, self motivated and high energy sales professional
  • Strong client relationship and communication skills
  • An ability to prioritize, and have good time management and organizational skills
  • You must be a person who embraces change and hungry to learn and is willing to grow with the company.
