WaBack Mini is an automatic backwater stop for sewage and storm water. WaBack Mini is for use in basements which have connections to sewage or toilet pipes. Both the inlet and outlet are smooth and constructed for installation with sleeve or flex couplings. WaBack Mini is installed in the existing pipe and provides a secure protection against basement flooding.
During normal operation the flotation pipe rests again the bottom of the chamber and ensures that the pipe is completely open for flow in the right direction. When water begins to backflow the flotation pipe rises and seals agains the sealing plate to stop water entering the building. See the animation to the below.
WaBack Mini is a innovated product based on the original WaBack. The function is the same as the original WaBack but the design has been adjusted to incorporate a slightly different shape and size.
WaBack Mini is the safest backwater stop on the market thanks to its reliable function and compact design.
WaBack Mini has smooth connectors and is available in 110mm dimension.

WaBack Mini Brochure
WaBack Mini is ready for installation upon delivery. Installation information is included. The WaBack Mini should be installed where it is easily accessible for inspection.
The WaBack Mini unit can be installed in a basement. It can be inserted into an existing pipeline with flex couplings or sleeves. The existing pipe is to be cut where the WaBack mini is to be installed according to one of the above alternatives.
The chamber is to be placed so that the upper edge of the inlet pipe is at least 200mm lower than the basement floor.
During inspection loosen the hose clamp that holds the rubber cover in place. Ensure that no sludge, paper or such like is left in the outlet or under the pipe. The WaBack Mini unit needs to be checked twice per year to ensure protection against flooding.
